Entremains Interview ~ Chicest Paris Vintage Store
Bonjour hi!
Welcome back to our inaugural SHY blog interview series to grow our community and shine a light on some amazing businesses I am obsessed with!
There are couple things that recharge my energy and ignite my soul and two of those ~ Paris and good vintage. The city is filled with all my favourites lined with charming streets, the best cafes/restaurants and sprinkled with vintage. There is no better personal style and it-girls than the french ones and I love looking to Paris for inspiration. The greatest fashion houses and trends started there which have trickled down to the strictest curation of vintage and timeless pieces.
Drumroll please…. I remember discovering Entremains when they followed Shy’s instagram and was immediately obsessed with their curations/style. I cannot wait to go back to Paris to visit this darling store to invest in some pieces and chat with Camille ~ the founder. Think the perfect curation of beautiful timeless pieces that will last forever in your personal wardrobe - definitely quality over quantity. Picture inspo from old The Row or Alaia or Phoebe Philo Celine ~ Camille you and your team are amazing curators!!
1. Give us the 411. Who is Camille (founder)?
I’m Camille, the founder of Entremains. I come from a business background — I studied at a French business school — but I’ve always known I wanted to create something in fashion. Not just work in it, but build a world of my own. What I love most about fashion is how silhouettes come together, the feeling of a look that just works, when all the pieces speak to each other. I’m drawn to clothes that tell a story — sensual, precise, effortless.
2. Tell us about Entremains and why you started.
I started Entremains with a strong desire to make second-hand feel sexy and desirable. At the time, vintage was often either too costume-like or too basic — I wanted to show that it could be both cool and elevated.
But as the market grew and more players entered the space, I knew we had to go further. That’s when Entremains evolved into a true fashion brand — still 100% second-hand, but with a sharp, curated point of view, made for urban, stylish women who want more than just clothes — they want identity and emotion.
3. What are your essentials for a timeless wardrobe?
The right denim — in all its forms: straight, wide, perfectly worn-in.
A crisp white cotton tee — simple but essential.
An oversized men's coat — in wool or cashmere, the kind that instantly gives structure.
Tall boots — to wear all year round, with bare legs in summer or layered in winter.
And leather, leather, leather — jackets, skirts, bags... it always adds edge and elegance.
4. Who are your current style icons/best dressed?
Kate Moss — the original cool girl
Amber Valletta — for her 90s elegance and quiet strength.
Camille Charrière — for her modern, irreverent take on French style.
Jessie Andrews — she nails that effortless, sensual minimalism I love.
5. What are five of your favourite Paris spots?
Café Tabac, in Montmartre — for people-watching and the best early evenings.
Localino — tiny, delicious, and full of charm.
Freddy’s — for wine, small plates, and the vibe.
Hotel Amour, always — it never gets old.
And of course, my boutique Entremains — it’s more than a store, it’s my second home.
6. If Entremains could collaborate on a Shy World piece, what would it be?
A timeless oversized shirt — soft, breathable, with delicate details that make it unique. A versatile piece to be worn day or night, embodying comfort and understated elegance. It would blend intimacy and modernity, just like Entremains.
Love,
Camille
