shy world 1st year & our 1st popup!!

hi guys <3

i’m currently sitting in my apartment wearing sweatpants and my matcha slut tee with a palo santo candle burning smiling writing this post! I had a couple of goals and milestones set for my first year launching shy world and somehow surprised myself!!

I wanted:

1. to launch five unique pieces on our website

2. to get our pieces in a montreal store I love

3. to do our first collaboration with another brand I admire

4. to host my first ever popup for Shy <3

I’ve completed:

1. launching: shy cap, shy mtl cap, matcha slut baby tee, pancake slut baby tee and our classic tote

2. getting shy world caps stocked at seconde vintage, one of my favourite vintage stores in mtl (5274 boul saint-laurent)

3. collaborating with dandy mtl, my favourite brunch restaurnat tucked away in old port on our pancake slut tee

4. hosting my first ever popup at seconde vintage with jinjin on matcha and nastie.fleur on flowers

I want to say the biggest thank you to claudia at seconde for letting me host my first ever popup! to wen from jinjin for making the most delicious unique matchas ever for all our guests especially the shy world matcha. to kata from nastie.fleur for curating the most beautiful pink fresh flowers for all our guests especially to make custom bouquets. to all my friends and family for showing up with so much love and support as always ~ I love you guys!

the most special part was getting to meet you guys ~ the shy community and get to chat and hangout a while. it was extra special seeing you guys touch and try the pieces and take them home to wear and enjoy! i met so many super cool mtl girls and it truly means the world that you guys support my brand! this gave me a giant boost of energy and momentum to keep going and I can’t wait to do next year’s!!
