I discovered Presley through her sustainable brand @campbellandkramer (environmental conscious california it-girl brand) and love her style and travels! I’m such a fan girl how she created her brand with her best friend and love her California girl lifestyle. She gives us a glimpse into her life and who she is and don’t forget to checkout her brand!
She has the best style especially vintage pieces, and rotates her adventures between sand, snow and mountains! Thank you for being our next SHY girl Presley, truly feel so honoured that you wrote something. I asked her below our five famous questions to pick her brain getting to know her. Read below what she wrote for her answers, and get some insight to who she is.
1. give us the 411 about you. who is presley campbell?
hiiii im presley <3 i’m a huge vintage lover and obsessed with all things fashion, focusing on up & coming sustainable small designers & women owned brands. i started a sustainable clothing brand @campbellandkramer with my freshman year roommate at UCLA and best friend Alden and it's my greatest passion. i’ve lived near the ocean my whole life, and have a great love for nature and casual days spent at the beach which influences my personal style for sure. i love to cook, explore new cuisines & countries, and reconnect with dance whenever i can. my version of doom scrolling is staying up til 2 am on eBay, Depop, the RealReal, and Poshmark finding those vintage designer deals & new small vintage Parisian and Italian designers. omg stop I love that version of doom scrolling and we’re getting the good vintage deals too - dove
2. where are three of your absolute favourite travels and why?
my favorite travel so far is definitely Thailand. my boyfriend and I got to spend 3 weeks there in the summer of 2023 and i still think about the trip daily. their focus on family, spreading kindness, and supporting local business reshaped and reinforced the way i think and i felt so grounded there, amongst the most beautiful untouched nature i’d ever seen. i also loved my time in Croatia, Portugal, and Madrid, and have visited Oahu yearly because I have a lot of family there, it's truly one of the most beautiful places in the world and it will always hold such a special place in my heart. a day on Sunset beach on north shore followed by Teds chocolate haupia pie will always heal me. ok i’m so jealous you get to go to oahu every year, you truly are the west coast princess then w cali and hawaii!!
3. what’s the best advice that you’ve ever received?
the best advice i've received is never be afraid to pivot, keep an open mind. it's never too late to pursue your passions, pivot in another direction, and never too early to jump in and figure things out along the way. when we started campbell&kramer in 2019 sewing thrifted fabrics into our designs out of our dorm room with no prior sewing experience we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, but we threw ourselves in, never looked back, and continued to pivot as we learned. we constantly discuss, manifest, and work toward our goals & now have seen our designs on Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Em Rata. such a dream come true! ah I love this so much and definitely leaning into this advice for Shy World too! Kendall, Bella and Emrata wearing your brand is ICONIC
4. what are some things you love but are shy about?
I think I’m an introverted extrovert. I get my energy from being around the people I love but can be shy at first. I’m definitely not shy about my personal style & getting dressed up every chance I get no matter the environment, but I definitely emphasize quality over quantity of people I surround myself with and only let my circle all the way in. Once I’m comfortable though I won’t stop chatting and cracking up w u <3 I can’t agree more about the quality over quantity with your inner circle and your closest friends
5. if you could collab on a shy world limited edition drop piece, what would it be?
I’m loving all the dusty baby pink tones on your feed right now, so I think id choose that color palette for a limited edition collab piece together. In a mini skirt + cardigan-like top with our signature c&k sculpting fit, extra long sleeves and tonssss of little mother of pearl buttons ah stop i’m obsessed it’s giving girly girl with some mermaid core and who doesn’t love pink? saving this collab for sometime in the future
