welcome back to the interview series of amazing businesses I love!! three of my favourite things living in mtl are definitely: the cafes, the food and obviously the vintage!! I remember when I first moved to mtl, my friends and I were on a mission to unlock the vintage scene and we all loved Club 777 Vintage immediately ~ think endless y2k treasures!
i’m a 1997 girly so I grew up and am completely obsessed with all things 2000s. trust me my friends can attest to this, i’m a true sucker for girlhood and nostalgia (roots of shy world). love a throwback playlist, a hannah montana reference, every single 2000s rom com and of course the fashion!! club 777 has nailed the curation for all the iconic pieces you would wear back then.

1. Give us the 411. What is Club 777 Vintage?
Club 777 Vintage is a curated collective that brings together handpicked pieces from a range of independent vendors. We take the work out of second-hand shopping by sourcing only the best, so instead of digging for hidden gems, everything you see is already one. It’s about making second-hand fashion feel effortless, exciting, and accessible, so it becomes people’s first choice over fast fashion.

2. How did it start and what inspires you the most?
Club 777 Vintage was founded by three passionate individuals (Ev, Mariana, MG) who share a deep love for early 2000s fashion. We were constantly inspired by that era’s bold, playful energy and realized how hard it was to find those pieces in one place. That’s what pushed us to create something of our own, a space where that nostalgic style is easy to discover, while celebrating individuality and community.
I miss that bold, playful energy so much cause sometimes these days everyone wants to dress like CBK etc
3. Where are three of your absolute favourite travels and why?
Paris because it’s timeless and endlessly inspiring. Lisbon for the incredible food and laid-back energy. And Mexico, for the warmth of the people and the vibrant culture that makes every visit unforgettable.
yes, yes and yes paris, lisbon and mexico is the best combo and I would go back to each place in a literal heartbeat, now I’m really craving some good mexican food
4. What are your absolute favourite spots in Montreal?
I love spending time on Saint-Denis Street (of course) there’s something special about all the vintage and second-hand shops there. For a quick bite, Kahwa or Thé perlé are my go-tos, (especially for a good bánh mì). On a summer day, nothing beats walking through Parc Lafontaine or hanging out with friends. I also love bringing people to Mile End or strolling down Mont-Royal when it’s pedestrian-only. The whole city just comes alive. It’s such a unique, unbeatable vibe!
I’ll have to checkout Kahwa and Thé perlé cause I’m a sucker for a really good bubble tea and banh mi esp after a night out.
5. What are some things you love but are shy about?
Even though I don’t wear a lot of makeup day-to-day, I genuinely love experimenting with it, trying new looks, new products and practicing different techniques.
I relate to this so much Mariana haha cause I’m more a skincare girly and lazier but it’s so fun to dip into it and play makeup sometimes especially with all the cool brands these days
6. If you could collab with Shy World on another product, what would it be?
Definitely something inspired by the early 2000s, baby tees would go hard.
I love this idea! I mean Shy does kill the baby tees which are really loved
