spontaneous trips hallelujah, sun + matcha hallelujah, good food hallelujah, great friends hallelujah! another year means another last minute spontaneous trip to visit my best friend across the country. i’m based in mtl loving east coast city life (think mtl and nyc) and deet’s out west enjoying bc and california. it was my third year in a row flying out to vancouver and I do love this city so much. mtl is still my #1 but vancouver comes second and is definitely the most beautiful in canada with all the nature. van is filled with city, beach, mountains, forest and you can literally skateboard, surf, snowboard, hike in the same day.

it was so fun frolicking around the city hanging with deet’s friends who are all so down to earth and cool. we ate and drank our way through the city and basked in the sun since weather was amazing.

1. basking in the sun by the water at lighthouse park

2. the fresh tulips and lilies at any downtown flower markets

4. cafe kitsune for a good ice strawberry matcha

5. bam bam for dinner! great donuts. matcha, cocktails and fried chicken sandwiches

6. the bathroom is sick ~ pic with the girls

7. bam bam had some really sick donut flavors

8. steph <3 i got pretty inspired hanging out with so many architects

12. ice matcha and roadtrip for a good hike

13. cafe isetta in west van was sooo good

14. you have to get the matcha affogato and cookie

15. order grilled cheese + tomato soup, the salad and pasta 10/10

16. trek around lighthouse park was giving twilight vibes

17. deet and her friends giving the pnw style

18. spending time in nature is honestly so recharging

19. the mountains and beach are seriously super healing

20. fat mao for literally the most banging thai

21. cowdog matcha is one of my absolute favs

22. fable brunch was such a gem loved it

23. order the match slush you won’t regret it

27. honolulu hawaii cafe for some bussin açai bowls

28. the greek in yaletown was such a delicious dinner

29. 16 years and counting of this amazing friendship! ice matcha and sun and shopping and frolicking
