SHY City Guide ~ London, England
SHY city guide ~ london, england
immersive shops every corner, delicious international food scene, colourful pockets tucked away and classic british energy! london was honestly one of my favourite european cities and I already can’t wait to go back one day to explore more. there’s obviously the need to play tourist once to see the classic landmarks like big ben, kensington palace etc. the real fun is simply in frolicking around the town popping into the unreal shopping culture and the food scene. some of my favourites in terms of shopping is around notting hill, the portobello street markets, the soho area boutiques and OMG the row is to die for. some of my favourites in terms of food and there’s a lot to be choosing from ~ sketch is worth experiencing, so is sunday roast, borough market has everything and ugh ottolenghi bakery was honestly so dreamy. i’d say london draws a lot of parallels to my other favourite city new york with shopping and eating galore. I would highly recommend if those two usually take priority when traveling but the city offers endless things to do.
1. sketch ~ the chicest funkiest restaurant where you can dine in the michelin star restaurant or do afternoon tea
2. borough market ~ market filled with dozens of delicious food vendors! worth standing in line paying for overpriced strawberries
