it’s been a whirlwind start to the summer with many cool trips with friends and family but portugal with my mom, dad and sister really took first prize (euro summers are unbeatable)
lisbon (lisboa) is one of my fave cities filled with so much charm and some incredible spots. i see a mishmash of paris, barce, mtl, sf but think cobblestone streets, shops cafes, fruit markets, fresh seafood
make sure to eat egg tarts every day, fill up on green wine and eat fresh seafood. stop by book stores, flea markets and boutiques, take lil day trips and try every restaurant
1. walk everywhere around town to see hidden gems and get a workout
2. wake-up early to catch the most stunning sunrise or sunsets at miradouros
3. stop at local bookstores, talk to the locals and ask for recs
4. manteigaria for the most mouth watering egg tarts you could ever taste
5. hello kristof cafe was such a darling spot for drinks and yapping
6. fruit markets galore everywhere so stop to pickup some local fruits/veggies
7. flea markets on sundays scatter all around town to find some treasures
8. chiado is one of my personal fav neighborhoods with so much charm
9. ceramics na linha for the most beautiful curation of handmade ceramics cookware
10. pro tip take the free stairs for a even better santa justa view
11. the brandy melville lisbon had some of the best perfect summer pieces
12. nude project is a new fav brand discovery of mine from barcelona
13. cascais daytrip from lisbon to see beautiful beaches and a luxe beach town
14. cabo da roca daytrip to see some sick beach cliffs and sites
15. sintra daytrip for a field trip to the cutest fairytale like town
16. don’t forget to romanticize and pull inspiration from all architecture/design
17. the two must-see castles are def peña palace and regaleira for sure
18. ponto final for a stunning fresh seafood dinner with a sunset view
19. ler devagar book store in lx factory area with sick prints too
20. taberna da rua das flores is hands down my favourite local restaurant
