1. bloemenmarkt for a beautiful curation of local flowers that amsterdam’s known for
2. city walks day and night around central amsterdam to catch the classic views
3. rijksmuseum is a must visit out of the many excellent museums amsterdam has to offer (highly recommend the sex museum too!)
4. van gogh museum is not worth the visit unless you’re his #1 fan (the sunflowers were still beautiful)
5. biking around the city is such a fun way to explore/commute
6. boat cruising around the canals is such a fun way to get day drunk (and learn amsterdam’s history)
7. fabel friet for my fellow french fry lovers (truffle parmesam mayo fries 10/10!!)
8. bitterballen is a must try as a local dutch snack and excellent bar food as well
9. red light district is still worth a look just for the plot
10. de plantage for a spectacular breakfast with a flamingo view
11. order the biscoff latte and a croissant with jam and butter
12. amsterdam has 17th century architecture, 165 canals and 881 000 bicycles (more than their population)
13. waterlooplein market is a must visit if you’re a vintage enthusiast and into handcrafted pieces
14. lolo for good drinks and late night oysters (make reso in advance)
15. nous sommes label is a cute brand only available in the netherlands and belgium
16. motel a miio for literally the most aesthetic handmade mediterranean style ceramics for your home
17. museumplein is an amazing area to stay in by the museums
18. winkel 43 for the best apple pie ever (check out noordermarkt beside)
19. day trip to bruges for the fairytale town (unesco world heritage)
20. boothclub for their vintage b&w photobooth to end the trip
